Rather difficult to call this movie called Solstice as a horror movie. Perhaps more appropriate is a drama movie about ghosts as such a concept first brought the movie GHOST. Solstice can not be categorized as a horror movie there is no element of 'surprise' that the main elements of a horror movie. In some scenes there is a little 'tension' which emerged but not strong enough to make it into a film that 'scarry'.
Scenes of horror film classics such as the radio, suddenly the car sounds or lights that lit-off may be intended to bring viewers into the tense atmosphere as it should. But such a classic scene that was balanced with elements of mystery and surprise is something that eventually becomes stale and futile. In the horror film on the market is that many, directors are required to produce something that remains 'fresh' and not get stuck on the general guidelines to make horror movies that have expired.
Finally, the Solstice is so a product that was wrong packaging. If this film was made with the basic concept of a drama, then maybe he better have more value. Supporters acting quite pleasing to the eye as from the production side, this film is quite good considering making funds are not too large.
