Ever imagined a bomb squad stationed in Iraq? Risk their lives on the body to pieces if one cut the cable? Try this tension explored in the film The Hurt Locker. The film revolves around an elite team struggle the United States bomb squad, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), while on duty in the Iraq war.
They served to comb the area to pass U.S. soldiers from mines planted by Iraqi troops. This task is not easy because their boss becomes the victim while on duty. Lives of the soldiers changed when the new boss, Sergeant William James, played by Jeremy Renner was ignoring all the procedures to defuse the bomb.
Directed by Kathryn Bigelow exploit the detailed process of disabling the bomb scene, and the cars exploded and destroyed. To get the background of Iraq War, this film chose a place in Amman, Jordan after previously transferred from the U.S. military base in Kuwait for not getting permission.
